About the Stay

Practical Tips:

Given the program, we recommend bringing good walking shoes and a small backpack for the hikes.
Since the beaches are made of pebbles, it may also be useful to bring water shoes. As the sun is quite strong, we suggest packing a cap or hat, as well as sunglasses.

For your comfort, don’t forget to pack a small pharmacy with your personal medications, insect repellent, eco-friendly sunscreen (to protect the local flora and fauna), etc.
Since the sun rises early in Croatia, we also suggest bringing a sleep mask to avoid being woken up by the first rays of sunlight.

We are gradually adopting a sustainable development approach, and to limit plastic use, we encourage you to bring your own water bottle (1.5 L) if you have one.

And most importantly, don’t forget your swimsuit!

How to reach Lumbarda?

From Dubrovnik: Approximately 3 hours.

  • Organized bus transfer from the airport on Friday at 7:30 PM. (€50 per person)
  • Korkyra Info Agency (korkyrainfobooking@gmail.com) also offers a bus transfer (around €50), but this depends on the number of people taking the transfer.
  • Regular bus from the airport to the Dubrovnik ferry station. Three fast catamaran agencies to reach the island of Korčula: TPline, Jadrolinija, Krilo. Then take a taxi from Korčula to Lumbarda.
Since the last boat departs at 4:00 PM, we recommend arriving by late morning at the latest.
